An exhibit of puppets created by artist, Shirley Denison was on display in the library to celebrate the cultural diversity of Sanilac County. One of the puppets bears a striking resemblance to our State Representative, John Espinoza. The puppets were characters in a play written by Ray Denison which was performed at the Sanilac County Historical Museum and Village. Ramon, Maria and their family meet John Espinoza who explains the meaning of the holiday, Cinco de Mayo.
