Sanilac County Genealogical Society

The SCGS website has a growing database of helpful genealogy information as well as information of surnames being researched by members, society events, workshops, projects and a page with links to most of the area libraries from our website!

SCGS welcomes research inquiries to the SCGS website. SCGS members are happy to help researchers get started or try to unlock those brick walls. SCGS does not charge. SCGS does not research legal records, but can direct researchers to the contacts for those records.
