Digital Services Card

SDL offers online digital services such as OverDrive (audio & ebooks) and RBDigital emagazines. If you do not currently have a card at Sanilac District Library and are only interested in using SDL's online services, you may apply for a Digital Services Card by email. 

The Digital Services Card is limited exclusively to virtual services. Physical library materials may not be borrowed using the Digital Services Card.  

SDL’s Digital Services Card is only available to residents of SDL’s service area: CPS School District, Sanilac Township and Forester Township.  

All current SDL card holders already have access to digital resources, no matter the status of your account.  

If you are unable to access OverDrive or RBDigital, please email  Library staff will check your account and get back to you.

Apply for a Digital Services Card by emailing the following information to:

  • Your name as listed on your driver's license. Please include you first, middle and last name.

  • Your driver's license (or MI ID) number.

  • Your address as listed on your driver's license. 

  • Your township.

  • Your phone number.

  • Your email address. 

Library staff will notify you of your SDL Digital Services Card number, PIN and instructions to access OverDrive and RBDigital accounts.

Full Service SDL Card

When normal services are reinstated, you may upgrade to a full-service card following to SDL’s regular application policy.
