Digital Services Card
Downloadable audio books, eBooks and eMagazines from OverDrive
Digital services are accessible 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days of the year from any location!
During this national health emergency, many people are not comfortable entering public places. Sanilac District Library is offering this opportunity so that any resident of SDL's library district may have access to virtual services.
If you do not currently have a card at Sanilac District Library and are only interested in using SDL's online services, you may apply for a Digital Services Card by email. All current SDL card holders already have access to digital resources, no matter the status of your account. If you are unable to access OverDrive, please email sdlcircdesk@yahoo.com Library staff will check your account and get back to you.
The Digital Services Card is limited exclusively to virtual services. Physical library materials may not be borrowed using a Digital Services Card.
Apply for a Digital Services Card by emailing the following information to sanilacdistrictlibrary@yahoo.com

Your name as listed on your driver's license. Please include you first, middle and last name.

Your driver's license (or MI ID) number. If possible, please attach a picture of your driver's license.

SDL’s Digital Services Card is only available to residents of SDL’s service area: CPS School District, Sanilac Township and Forester Township.

Library staff will notify you of your SDL Digital Services Card number, PIN and instructions to access your OverDrive account.
Full Service SDL Card
You may upgrade to a full-service card by visiting SDL in person and following SDL’s regular application policy.
